My 3 year old an I are learning Spanish toegther?
in COGNITO * asked:
And she is ahead of me, thanks to Dora. She’s ben watching all her cartoons in Spanish. But I’m wondering what would be a good way for us to learn together. You have any good ideas. She can read a little, and I dont’ want to go too fast, but she does know when someone is speaking Spanish or English and I can tell that she is very interested.

I want to learn Spanish. What’s the best way to take advantage of my Spanish speaking friends?
11:17 asked:
I really want to learn Spanish and I’ve gotten into learning more than I ever had before.
My friends are all fluent in Spanish & English and they talk to me in Spanish all the time (commands, questions, etc.). Sometimes I understand, sometimes I don’t. Whenever I have a question on how to say something, I ask, but I want to get farther than that.
How do I take a better advantage of learning Spanish from them?

Which schools to learn Spanish in Guadalajara?
spachick2000 asked:
I am thinking about going to Guadalajara for one week next year to learn Spanish. I took level 1 already. I am still not very confident speaking, writing (yet) so my goals I hope to accomplish in a week 1) feel more confident speaking 2) understand Spanish and the “rhythm” of it when someone speaks. Does anyone know of any reputable companies in Guadalajara where I can meet my goals?
Let me re-iterate - I want to learn Spanish not English.

I say if Spanish speaking people are going to come over here, they should have to learn English. Not the other way around.
in school growing up, we are required to Spanish.
even in college for majors. I’m 26, and I remember looking at some majors that you would least expect that would require spanish classes.
