I’m using Teach Yourself Spanish, and each chapter on average introduces about 15-20 news words and 4 or 5 new gramatical concepts, and 1 or 2 irregular verbs. Obviously, everyone is different, but what would be considered a resonable amount of time to spend on each chapter before you had it fairly well memorised?
